The ideal eco friendly straws!

Oxo-Bio Straws have an approximate lifespan of 18 months after their useful life, making them the ideal eco friendly straw! Instead of taking 30 years or more to break down, like normal plastic straws.

Designed with a molecular structure that helps the plastic break down. After an initial 48 hours of sunlight, and exposure to oxygen, the straw will begin to degrade, eventually becoming brittle and slowly break down. Then they can be attached in a micro biological form, eventually degrading to C02 and Biomass.

If a straw ends up in the open environments, the degradable properties work well and act quickly.

These straws meet standards for exposing and testing plastics that degrade with a combination of Oxidisation and Biodegradation. Once fully broken down, the biomass and C02 pose no threat to the earth.

Oxidisation is a process in which a chemical substance changes because of the addition of oxygen.

Something that is biodegradable breaks down or decays naturally without any special scientific treatment, and can therefore be thrown away without causing pollution.
