TerraCyclic is the only sanitary disposal unit in the world, made from biodegradable plastics and can be returned to the earth through normal refuse disposal. TerraCyclic offers convenience, easy sanitary disposal, simple service and a choice of exterior finishing’s.
Designed with minimal handling and cleaning in mind, it fits discreetly into rest rooms and required minimal maintenance. It is perfect for smaller businesses, locations without full servicing plants and isolated businesses un-reached by servicing. Also great for restrooms with seasonal requirements, sea-based operations such as ferries and environmentally sensitive areas such as beaches and wildlife parks.
Minimal in design and maintenance
TerraCyclic is not meant to be reused, that is why it is made from biodegradable plastics that can be disposed of through normal refuse disposal.
Designed with easy cleaning in mind, a cartridge is simply inserted into the cylinder and then disposed in its entirety after use, with other waste.
Cartridges already include pre-inserted biodegradable Saniquill chemicals, and are supplied neatly stacked into each other for easy storage.
TerraCyclic comes in two convenient sizes; 13 litre and 26 litre. The 13 litre capacity measures 70cm x 15cm. The 26 litre capacity measures 80cm x 20cm.
Every TerraCyclic sanitary disposal unit includes a long-life wall mounted cylindrical unit, which holds the replacement lid and cartridge liner.
The compact size and unique design guarantee the cylinder life is extended. Once mounted on the wall, the unit never needs to be handled again. The cylinder allows it to fit discreetly into cubicles and restrooms.
Disposal of TerraCyclic
Under the General Waste classification 3.1 Sanitary: Disposable nappy and incontinence product waste as well as feminine hygiene sanitary products such as tampons and sanitary pads. Includes bulk sanitary waste generated from public areas or commercial premises, provided an appropriate disposal system is used.
The General Waste Classification refers to the broad sector of sanitary, plastic and miscellaneous waste materials, that are not classified as controlled waste. It does not require special treatment prior to disposal, and does not require approval to transport under EMPCA, or the Waste Management Regulations.
