Do you run a hotel or a bed and breakfast? Some times all a room needs is a few little changes to feel brand new again. Here are ten quick tips for you to refresh your rooms.
1. Rearrange the furniture. Could you place the bed in a new spot? Or move a chair to another part of the room?
2. Add pops of colour with some new pillows, a vase, new lampshade, throw blanket or other decor items.
3. Change the door knobs or lighting fixtures to something more modern.
4. Change out old artwork for some by a local artist or network with a gallery.
5. Update the tech. Is it time for a new television or soap dispenser?
6. Try something new, like a new range of guest amenities or adding more for your guests to enjoy such as slippers, dressing gown or door signs.
7. Add small surprises for your guests to enhance their experiences. Add some local beer to the fridge. Or place some complimentary treats on the table.
8. A fresh coat of paint can make the biggest difference. How about using different colours to create a feature wall.
9. Give your guests some ideas of what to do in the local area. You could include some brochures for local experiences or a blackboard with your top three suggestions for things like places to eat or places to go.
10. Create a social media experience for your guests. Can you create a unique selfie spot in front of the view or include a fun photo prop in the room that is unique to your business.
